<description>After deciding which scenario to play, but before Recon rolls, choose one of the following army wide special rules. If more players have this option, choose in secret and reveal it simultaneously.

- Volatile Vector-P Strain: Every Specimen unit gains BOOM!(2) keyword.

- Slow-Acting Serum: At the start of the second round, before rolling for command, you may replace any Containment Guard from your Strike Team with a Plague Victim Specimen model. At the start of the third round, you must replace any remaining Containment Guards. When a Containment Guard dies before using this ability, it is replaced by an activated and pinned Plague Victim Specimen.

- Maximum Security: Instead of placing Hellhounds when using Unleash the Hounds, you may place a Containment Guard Instead (Using either Anya or Marcus profiles), Containment Guards may re-roll a single dice when testing for Keeping Them In Line.

- Taking over Control: Friendly Specimen models may treat any non-specimen models as enemies, gaining VPs when eliminating them (instead of your opponent gaining them). Specimen eliminated while Taking over Control still give your opponent the VPs as normal. Once you make use of Taking over Control, you may only use the Tactician value from Subject 901, and all friendly Specimen except the Aberration lose the Rampage keyword.
