In Übersee-Museum's DINA there is a Collecting Event Managed Attribute called "Journey" (actually, it is called "Expedition" but for the sake of clarity, let´s call it "Journey".)

We want to migrate the data from "Journey" to "Collecting Event Expedition". The pick list from "Journey" has already been created in "Expeditions" (/collection/expedition/list). What is the recommended procedure for this data migration?
After the data migration, the managed attribute “Journey” will be obsolete, but as long as “Journey” is used in Material Samples, it cannot be deleted. What is the recommended procedure for clearing and deleting it?
I'm sure there's a way to do this using a script, but is there also a way to solve it in DINA UI?
