I'm activly looking into it. Fusions docking behavior is a bit tricky. Will post a new version soon (after a few more tests) that better allows position management of the different palettes. What I will not do is have QPP actively jump around the UI when you eg. enter sketch while QPP is open. Dont think such behavior would be good from a UI point of view. |

Pushed a new version (1.3.0). Would be interested to learn if it works for you. QPP will not move by itself when the edit palette comes on (as my previous comment/reasoning). You have a restore/repositioing button that will move QPP docked to the Sketch palette. You can also move it down / out of the way and restore the docked position with that control. Tried to add collapse/expand functionality, but did not get that to work consistently yet. Fusion360 palette API is not totally straightfwd - at least for me. Check it out - if you like the whole add-on, I would not mind a star on Github. |

Thank you for following up on my suggestion. The reset button works fine, and is a good way to get the palette out of the way when entering a sketch. Interestingly, for some reason, upon entering a sketch, the sketch palette now pops up in front of the QPP, which would be great but it then disappears behind the QPP within a few seconds or upon switching to another app or screen. But if I click the sketch palette to bring it to the front, it will stay there. So I ended up positioning the QPP a bit away from the right edge of the window. Now when I open a sketch, If it obscures the sketch palette, I can just click in the space to the right edge of QPP and bring the sketch palette to the front. It's a reasonable workaround. Happy to give you that star on GitHub! |

Actually, I just discovered something that makes It even easier for me: I can just drag the QPP to my second screen. So no more interference when I enter a sketch, as the sketch palette always pops up on the first screen. |
Uh oh!

Right now, when the QuickParameter palette is open and I open a sketch, the sketch palette pops up behind QuickParameter so I constantly have to move QuickParameters out of the way. Ideally, the QuickParameter dialog should move out of the way when opening a sketch.
