[Bug]: Pink Screen with Checkerboard Pattern on Start

Describe the Issue

When I load the game, I am greeted with a pink screen and a black checkerboard pattern. I can get the mod to work correctly by manually changing the resolution in windowed mode. Doesn't matter the start resolution or what I change it to.

The initial splash screen isn't affected, just after you press any button to enter the main menu.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Launch game
2. Press any button to enter main menu

I would imagine it is given that I've not seen any reports of this on Windows. Have you tried different versions of Proton? Also, I take it this issue does not happen with FF7RebirthFix uninstalled?

@Lyall I'm 99.99% sure the issue is caused by optiscaler and not by the FF7RebirthFix itself as I'm facing the very same behavior only while using FF7RebirthFix + optiscaler.. I'm on Linux, not tested on Windows.

I am using fgmod which uses optiscaler. Not sure why I didn't consider this originally.
