From Android Market: "You might allow an option to set the dialog for picking a box slightly transparent so you can see the board."
My biggest concern with this is that it might be really confusing to look at a bunch of red/blue squares THROUGH other red/blue squares. But maybe with some clever use of different shades or something, this could look really cool.
