BirdEcho — a free Android companion app (supports Nachtzuster fork)

[arunrajiah]

Hey 👋

I built BirdEcho, a free open-source Android companion app for BirdNET-Pi. It supports both the original mcguirepr89 fork and this fork — including the JSON species-label endpoint and /api/v1/image/{Sci_Name} species image lookup that the Nachtzuster fork adds.

Connect over your local network, no BirdWeather account needed. Key features: live feed with audio playback, species browser, 14-day stats chart, CSV export, favourites with daily notifications, Android home-screen widget, and offline cache.

Thanks to @Nachtzuster for the improved fork — would love to hear if anything needs tweaking for fork-specific behaviour. 🐦
