For a fresh install on a Raspberry Pi, use 64-bit Raspberry Pi OS Trixie, preferably the Lite image. That’s what this fork’s README asks for under Requirements:
A few practical notes:
Then install with: curl -s https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Nachtzuster/BirdNET-Pi/main/newinstaller.sh | bash(run as a normal user with passwordless sudo, not as root) If BirdWeather is the reason for the reinstall, get a BirdWeather ID from Tools → Settings after the install comes up. |

Colleagues, hello!

I’ve decided to completely reinstall the system so that the BirdWeather works. Could you tell me: which OS should I ultimately install? The installation page lists several options.
Thanks!
