Centerline tool creating outputs with too many vertices #1093

Description

@Jdgilby

I had a project that seemed incredibly bogged down, almost unfunctional. The culprit turned out to be a profile that was derived from the centerline tool. I started an editing session to use the simplify tool on it and it showed there were 3 million vertices in a <1 mile reach. I was able to simplify down to <10000 without really changing the geometry.

I did not change the tool settings before generating that profile, maybe its worth checking the defaults, but more importantly, making sure if those settings are changed that they revert back after closing the tool.

Worth noting this was on lidar with longer narrower vb corridors, so i get theres some trickiness there with settings and getting a profile to produce with minimal vertices. Not sure the best way to approach this, I do like the idea of showing the amount of vertices in the tool dialog when generating them. Heres an example of that in the editing toolbar.

This would allow users to generate and alter settings but see how many vertices they will have and potentially give a warning.
