How often are jobs updated?

Every 5 minutes via a scheduled GitHub Actions workflow. The README.md and jobs.json are both regenerated and committed on each run.

How do I add a company?

Open config.yml in the repository. Find the section for the company's ATS (greenhouse, lever, or workday) and add the board ID. Submit a PR — CI will validate the config automatically. This is the most common contribution and takes about 5 minutes.

How do I find a company's board ID?

• Greenhouse: Visit https://boards.greenhouse.io/<board-id>/jobs — the board ID is in the URL.
• Lever: Visit https://jobs.lever.co/<company-name> — the company name slug is the ID.
• Workday: More complex — check the CONTRIBUTING.md for the full lookup process.

Why is a job I know exists not showing up?

Three most common reasons:

1. The company isn't in config.yml yet — add it
2. The posting is older than the max_age_days filter threshold
3. The job title doesn't match new-grad signals (e.g., "Senior" roles are filtered out)

What does "new-grad signal" mean?

Job titles and descriptions are scanned for keywords like new grad, entry level, early career, 0-2 years, university hire, etc. Roles that don't contain these signals are excluded.

Can I use jobs.json in my own project?
