Hi, I’m experiencing an issue displaying images in BIIGLE and would appreciate some guidance. I originally uploaded all images directly into BIIGLE using the official BIIGLE storage. I have worked on these same images before without any issues and have already completed the annotation of one of the volumes. When I now try to open the images in the annotation tool using Chrome, I receive the following message: “Image cannot be displayed. This might be fixed by configuring cross-origin resource sharing on your remote image location.” I came across a recent discussion mentioning a similar error related to TIFF files and browser decoding issues, but that situation does not seem to apply here, as my dataset consists entirely of JPEG images and not TIFFs. Since these images were uploaded directly to BIIGLE and are stored in BIIGLE’s official storage, I would not expect them to be treated as remote resources. I also do not manage any external server where CORS settings could be changed. Could you please advise on what the next troubleshooting steps might be? Any guidance on how best to proceed would be greatly appreciated. |

This might indeed be related to the TIFF issue you found, although your files are not TIFF. Can you please send the link to your image to info@biigle.de? |
For the record: The problem was a security browser extension that interfered with loading the image.
