I've requested that JAWS add support for math in PDF and even sent them the code that NVDA uses (it's not much). They said they plan to do it, but would not say when. There's is nothing we can do. However, you as a JAWS user can send a message to them saying that this is a priority for you and others. If they get enough people telling them that, it is more likely they will add it. Similarly, MathCAT supports lots of languages and braille codes, but they only allow access to a few of them. Again, users need to push them to include them. |

I recently received a testing license for JAWS to do math PDF conformance testing. I noticed that JAWS, despite incorporating MathCAT, does not yet support edit: accessible PDF math via AF or SE.
Would this be a good place to discuss the possibility of that support (already present in NVDA) being ported over to JAWS?
