To create it we will combine laser cutting, computer aided design, and simple circuits. Our purpouse is to engage women and girls in artisan making communities.
This intervention will respond to the cultural crisis cultivated by the pandemic while also conceiving of future carnaval festivities.
The artifact will be a speculative exploration of a Carnival on a spaceship in a billion seconds: the year 2053.

For this reason we are using transparent acrylic, plywood, and the acrylic negative is used as a ""generator"" for casting biomaterial pieces of different colours. proj029,Autonomous Tree,2021,Microchallenge 4,"The Autonomous Tree is a result of my project Hypothetical Authorities, where people collaborated with me to explore and define potential new authorities that could address the largest challenges of our time, stimulate critical dialogues about the way authorities are designed today, and depict alternative possiblities for how things could be for audiences to consider. There are three conceptual parts to the Autonomus Tree installation. First, the theoretical possibiltiy that a selected tree could serve as a political representative, beaurocrat, or otherwise have power over humans. This is mostly achieved through storytelling and the narrative surrounding the installation. Second, physical symbolic artefacts and devices associated with human authority today installed on and around the tree. This was the focus of my Fab Academy Challenge 4 project and this repository houses all of the assets and files utilised to create these objects and the functionality they have. Finally, the last part of Autonomous Tree is a a digital conversation, created using a SaaS chat-bot creator called Landbot, which enables a dialogue and discourse between a human visiting the tree and the tree itself using the visitor's phone and a QR code which starts the conversation in the context of the tree.

Derivate of the process they have been emerging different needs and enquires about how the compost is eventually going to integrate and regenerate the soil, so with that in mind we define another commitment:

Commitment 3.- Prepare a guide and toolkit for testing the soil and comparing it with the compost, and evaluate the health of the soil by chemical, physical and biological testing.

Commitment 4.- Evaluation performance. Evaluate how well is working to make changes or adjustments, so in this part we are going to try the different sensor and empower people to use them and react from the data received.
