cmake not working i think

When I type "cmake -B build" it shows "CMake Error at C:/Program Files/CMake/share/cmake-4.3/Modules/CMakeTestCCompiler.cmake:67 (message):
The C compiler

is not able to compile a simple test program.

It fails with the following output:

I think I've found the issue.
CMake is trying to use the Geode CLI path as the command shell instead of cmd.exe, causing the compiler test to fail.

I'll check the COMSPEC environment variable and verify that it points to C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe
