StockAI v0.1.0 is live!

We're excited to announce the first public release of StockAI — a cross-platform desktop app that combines real-time news scraping with LLM-driven sentiment analysis for any stock ticker.

What it does

1. You type a stock symbol (e.g. AAPL, NVDA, TSLA)
2. The app scrapes full article content from Google Finance & Yahoo Finance using Playwright
3. An LLM analyzes the news and returns a structured report:
   • Sentiment score (bullish/bearish)
   • Key risk factors
   • Potential opportunities
   • Plain-language summary

AI Provider Support

Provider	How to use
OpenAI / any OpenAI-compatible API	Enter your API key + base URL in Settings
Ollama (local)	Run ollama serve + point to localhost:11434 — default model: qwen3.5:27b

In Ollama mode, everything runs on your machine — no data leaves your computer.

Tech Stack
