Start with the language guide, build guide, and current roadmap. The implementation is a Rust workspace; the design also records features that remain planned.
- Getting started, syntax and values, types
- Error handling and traits
- Standard library
- Result handling, labeled calls, newtypes, unions
- Native actors, mailbox/supervision API and typed Process monitors/links
- Morrow vs Elixir/BEAM actors
- JSON values and typed codecs
- File text IO, process execution, SQL lifecycle
- Runtime memory and Unicode decimal classification
- Writing and publishing documentation with
@moduledoc,@docandmorrow doc --site - Development environment, test runner, Rust style
- Rust workspace acceptance
- Full-stack actor/WebAssembly architecture
- Browser preview: WebSockets, offline reload and standalone deployment
- Deploying the demo to Fly.io and publishing this site
- System dashboard and authenticated runtime snapshots
- Compatibility policy and release readiness
Editor support is the Rust language server (morrow lsp). Tree-sitter and the
associated Zed grammar package were removed as part of the Rust-only migration.
Source documentation uses morrow doc; cargo xtask docs renders these guides,
the examples and the Rust API reference (cargo doc --workspace --no-deps) into
one browsable site under dist/docs.
The history, archived migration documents and reports retain dated decisions and measurements. Their old C/QBE/Python commands are historical evidence, not the current development workflow.
