Ability to rename tabs, and store session

I would love the ability to rename tabs. For my curent full stack development workflow I pretty much alway open the same 5 tabs, and rename the all the same thing (Currently use ptyxis or gnome terminal). Speaking of which, the ability to initiate that session would be great. Maybe for each tab in the pre-configured session the following could be specified: title, command (defaults to user shell), working directory.
