notcurses-info: Black and white emojiis only?

Hi,
currently I am terminal hopping.
There is a command called notcurses-info, which do some fency stuff in/on/with accelerated terminal emulators.

(Unfortunately I am not allowed to add a snapshot of the output.)

The output is colored ... but all emojiis are black and white.

How can I change this to colored emojiis?

hmm my guess is that Rio is using noto emoji instead of noto color emoji , I will double check
