@regent-vcs/opencode-plugin

re_gent version control plugin for OpenCode.

Captures agent activity (tool calls, session lifecycle, file changes) so you can run rgt log, rgt blame, and rgt show to inspect what your AI agent did and why.

Install

Option 1: Add to your opencode.jsonc

}

Then install the package:

cd .opencode && npm install @regent-vcs/opencode-plugin

Option 2: Use rgt init

rgt init --agent opencode

This copies the plugin locally and configures everything automatically.

Prerequisites

• rgt must be installed and in your PATH
• Initialize re_gent in your project: rgt init

What it captures

OpenCode Event	re_gent Action
session.created	Registers a new session
chat.message	Records user prompt (turn boundary)
tool.execute.after	Records tool call with input + output
session.idle	Finalizes the turn, snapshots workspace, creates a step

Usage

Once installed, re_gent captures activity automatically in the background. Then:

rgt log              # View step history
rgt blame <file>     # See which prompt produced each line
rgt show <step>      # Inspect full tool context for a step
