Use of external database client

how could I connect to the database of a bench with Table Plus for example? I guess the mariadb container would have to map port to localhost? What is the best way to configure this?

Frappe Manager deliberately does not publish the managed global-db port to the host. Port 3306 is only available on its Docker backend network, so TablePlus cannot connect to localhost:3306 by default.

The supported database UI is Adminer:

fm update mybench --admin-tools enable
fm info mybench

Then open http://mybench.localhost/adminer/. fm info shows the HTTP credentials.

If TablePlus is mandatory, custom Docker port publishing or tunnelling would need to be maintained separately. FM currently has no supported setting for exposing global-db, and publicly exposing MariaDB is not recommended.

ports:

Would it work?
