I can pause the game on Android and still play the game, the move count increases but the time does not leading to lowest time being 0.00, all moves have to be done manually as using the lower menu (hint, auto complete etc) will restart the timer
I have only tested on Android with the previous and latest download from fdroid on Klondike and Yukon.
