A lightweight FiveM vehicle handling pack focused on improving the speed and driving performance of selected vanilla vehicles while keeping their original handling characteristics as close as possible.
Type: FiveM Resource
Format:handling.meta
Vehicles: Vanilla GTA V vehicles
Purpose: Speed / performance-focused handling adjustments
| Vehicle | Handling File |
|---|---|
adder |

The handling files are separated by vehicle to make the resource easier to maintain and customize.
This resource modifies the vanilla GTA V handling values of selected vehicles.
The main goal is to provide:
- ⚡ Higher top speed
- 🚀 Better acceleration
- 🏎️ Improved high-speed performance
- 🎯 More responsive steering
- 🛞 Better traction at higher speeds
- 🔧 Vehicle-specific handling adjustments
- 🎮 A driving feel that remains close to the original vehicle
The handling is edited directly through GTA V's handling.meta system.
Place the resource inside your FiveM server's resources folder.
Add:
ensure Project07_VVHandlingEither restart the server or use:
restart Project07_VVHandling
The resource uses an fxmanifest.lua to load the handling files.
Each vehicle has its own handling.meta located inside the corresponding vehicle folder:
data/<vehicle>/handling.meta
For example:
data/adder/handling.meta
Each handling.meta contains GTA V handling parameters such as:
<fMass value="1800.000000" />
<fInitialDriveForce value="1.000000" />
<fInitialDriveMaxFlatVel value="205.000000" />
<fBrakeForce value="1.000000" />
<fTractionCurveMax value="2.350000" />
<fTractionCurveMin value="2.000000" />
<fSteeringLock value="42.000000" />You can adjust these values to change the vehicle's behavior.
| Parameter | Controls |
|---|---|
fInitialDriveForce |
Acceleration / engine force |
fInitialDriveMaxFlatVel |
Maximum speed |
fBrakeForce |
Braking power |
fSteeringLock |
Maximum steering angle |
fTractionCurveMax |
Maximum available grip |
fTractionCurveMin |
Grip at lower traction |
fLowSpeedTractionLossMult |
Low-speed wheelspin |
fDriveInertia |
Engine response / rev behavior |
fSuspensionForce |
Suspension stiffness |
fSuspensionReboundDamp |
Suspension rebound |
fSuspensionCompDamp |
Suspension compression |
Tip: Avoid changing multiple handling values aggressively at the same time. Small changes usually produce a more controllable result.
This pack is designed around the idea of enhancing the original vehicle rather than completely replacing its driving style.

The goal is not to turn every vehicle into a completely unrealistic race car.
Make sure the resource is started:
ensure Project07_VVHandlingThen check the server console for resource errors.
Restart the resource:
restart Project07_VVHandling
If the vehicle still uses old values, restart the FiveM client and test again.
Check the vehicle's corresponding file:
data/<vehicle>/handling.meta
Make sure the handlingName inside the file matches the handling entry used by the vehicle.
- This resource is intended for FiveM servers.
- Handling changes are applied through GTA V's
handling.metasystem. - Always keep a backup before making major handling changes.
- Excessively high values can cause unrealistic acceleration, braking, traction, or vehicle physics.
- Vehicle-specific tuning may be required depending on the server's other vehicle resources.
