jiazhu, xpinyin, zhnumber 宏包维护状态说明与维护人征集 #1041

这些宏包先前由 @qinglee 维护。但前辈自 2022 年最后一次维护 ctex-kit 后，就几乎再没有出现在社区。与 CTAN 管理员联络，对方也确认已很久没有前辈的消息。更早时候，前辈出于个人考量，未与社区内同好添加为微信联络人。长期以来，社区只能通过邮件与前辈联络。因此实质上，我们已经与前辈断联约 4 年。

我们会继续尝试联络，但已发布在 CTAN 上的宏包也要考虑继续维护。经与 CTAN 管理员沟通，若这些宏包到了确实要更新的时候，而又确实无法联络上前辈，则可以走维护者变更的流程。为表尊重，有此公告做说明。若前辈至今年 9 月底仍未回复，则考虑启动维护者变更流程。

之后我会尝试接手维护。但也要考虑到我已事实上离开学术写作需求逾 10 年，对 LaTeX 的需求几乎为零；又因为工作繁忙，可能随时无法继续维护。于是也诚征相关宏包的维护者。有兴趣的可以从 PR 做起，试着解一解已有的问题。

These packages were previously maintained by our senior colleague @qinglee. However, since he last worked on ctex-kit in 2022, he has hardly appeared in the community. When we contacted the CTAN team, the team also confirmed that it had not heard from him for a long time. Earlier on, for personal reasons, he chose not to add fellow community members as WeChat contacts, so for a long time email was the only way for the community to reach him. In effect, we have been out of contact with him for about four years.

We will keep trying to reach him, but the packages already published on CTAN still need to be maintained. After discussing this with the CTAN team: if these packages genuinely need an update and we genuinely cannot reach him, we may go through the maintainer-change process. Out of respect, we are posting this announcement to explain the situation. If there is still no reply from him by the end of September this year (2026), we will consider starting the maintainer-change process.

After that, I will try to take over maintenance. Please keep in mind, however, that I effectively left academic writing more than ten years ago and have almost no need for LaTeX myself; I am also busy with work and may become unable to continue maintaining these packages at any time. We are therefore also looking for maintainers for these packages. If you are interested, a good way to start is by opening PRs and trying to resolve some of the existing issues.
