I saw that Prusa is doing z probe moves that touch the nozzle on the build plate during their "nozzle cleaning". I assume the idea is to try and squish and deposit any leftover filament somewhere on the plate before moving to ZRP for the homing probe.
Follow-up from #525: keep nozzle cleanup separate from Kalico registry compatibility.
Explore touch-based cleanup within a defined XY area and a bounded number of attempts. Use measurement stability as the acceptance criterion—not a claim that the nozzle is clean; stable residue can still produce repeatable taps.
Define the tolerance, required stable samples, and attempt limit. Preserve calibrated touch speed, temperature limits, and movement safeguards. Safety failures must abort rather than trigger cleanup retries.
Decide whether to integrate with Kalico’s NOZZLE_CLEANUP or provide a dedicated Cartographer command.
