RE: https://github.com/GAM-team/got-your-back/wiki#performing-a-backup on macOS 26.4.1
Tilde does not work...
This does NOT work:
gyb --email example@domain.email --action backup --local-folder "~/Downloads/example-domain-email"
but this DOES work:
gyb --email example@domain.email --action backup --local-folder "/Users/me/Downloads/example-domain-email"
The destination folder must exist... why must I create the folder before running the tool? If the destination does not exist, I would have expected it to create it for me, at least within 1 level, maybe err if multiple levels of directories do not exist. Regardless, if that's a limitation, please document it. I see further down in the Restore section, "the specified folder should exist" -- so that's at least documented, yet it's implied since you need to restore from somewhere
