Television can follow Omarchy's active palette and light/dark mode through an optional integration in
contrib/omarchy-theme. The installer creates anOmarchytheme using the supported theme APIs and installs theme-change, login, and update hooks. The Linux client guide links to the separate installation instructions.A permanent source copy and user timer recover deleted theme files, damaged manifests, missed hooks, and deferred activation. Owned files are backed up before reinstallation; unrelated theme folders are preserved. The service retains the installation PATH for mise-managed CLI installations, and unchanged checks leave the stylesheet and theme registry untouched. This contribution does not add the integration to the desktop release payload or change the core theme interfaces.
Validation: the complete desktop unit surface, including nine Python regressions for dark/light palettes, invalid input, ownership, optimized-Python safeguards, installation/reinstallation, recovery, and activation retry; repository lint, type checks, and package-manifest checks. Committed palette fixtures run on Linux hosts without Omarchy; installed stock palettes are also checked when available. The original host integration was exercised against all 22 stock palettes and the live server, hooks, timer, and served CSS. GUI visual review and an actual operating-system update were not exercised.
