I am a scientific software developer focusing on developing methods, software, and tools for multiscale simulations. I am a part of the preCICE project where I maintain and develop several repositories. My educational background is in mechanical engineering, scientific computing, and software engineering.
My most recent employment has been at the University of Stuttgart. There, I worked in the Cluster of Excellence SimTech, and my research was about developing adaptive and flexible software for two-scale coupled simulations (projects PN5-9 and PN5-9(II)). During this work, I pursued a doctorate at the University of Stuttgart. I am currently seeking postdoctoral positions where I can apply my expertise in scientific computing and software development.
I am also interested in spreading Research Software Engineering practices. To this end, I have been part of curating and teaching the graduate-level courses Simulation Software Engineering and Research Software Engineering 102 taught at the University of Stuttgart.
