Since I've updated to ESPHome 2026.7.4 I've noticed that all my plugs running the JamesSwift/localbytes-plug-pm firmware don't reset the Total daily energy sensor any more.
Before that it was working flawlessly, I only had to set
time:
- platform: homeassistant
timezone: Europe/Berlin
in the yaml file to make sure it's actually "my" midnight ;)
How can this be fixed? The sensor now behaves like state_class total_increasing.
