"MpPatch failed to load" Splash Text at bottom of main menu.

Followed the User Guide, downloaded Flash, successfully downloaded installer and successfully installed using installer. When opening the game, splash text says MpPatch failed to load, and there is no multiplayer button after the mods menu.
I have no idea what I'm doing. Is there a way to see logs so I can post them?

I'm having this issue as well. I attempted the most recent version of the patching tool and the second most recent version.
