Welcome

Welcome to the BLDC wiki! The goal of this project is to develop a realistic Simulink Brushless Direct Current Motor simulator. Here you'll find all the information necessary to use the simulator and all the other accompanying libraries.

Libraries provided

So far the project has been divided among MATLAB libraries, they are:

  • BLDC library: Contains the BLDC simulator, as well as variations of it for different purposes.
  • Encoder library: Contains the encoder simulators, as well as some velocity estimation blocks.
  • Tools library: Contains several blocks used in conjunction with the simulators (CP-transformations, PWM-generator, Coulomb friction model, etc).
