MCore bump auto-fix status for dev:

Classification: MCore broke Bridge
Evidence: On 2026-07-01, Launch_Unit_Tests_Core failed exactly three Gemma4 tests because current MCore dev has no module-level megatron.core.transformer.transformer_block.checkpointed_forward; the job summary was 3 failed, 6,828 passed, 2 skipped, and 3 deselected.
Fix PR: #4445 — existing open dev fix for the same root cause; no duplicate fix branch or PR was opened. As of 2026-07-01, it is blocked on review and its remaining full-CI failures are the H100 and GB200 Stepfun L1 jobs, while Launch_Unit_Tests_Core passed on 2026-06-26.
Guards: Existing fix PR #4445 adds a local feature guard for the legacy module-level helper with TODO: remove this guard when both MCore main and dev call TransformerBlock._checkpointed_forward directly. No guard was added or removed by this worker.
Validation: Bump PR #4611 CI on 2026-07-01 reproduced the three failures above. Existing fix PR #4445 records CW interactive validation on 2026-06-22: uv run --no-sync python -m pytest for the four focused Gemma4 cases -> 4 passed; both Gemma4 unit-test files -> 123 passed; uv run --no-sync pre-commit run --all-files -> passed. Its CI Launch_Unit_Tests_Core also passed on 2026-06-26. No new validation was run because the duplicate-fix policy requires stopping when an open fix PR already covers the target failure.
Next action: Review and resolve the remaining Stepfun CI failures on #4445, merge #4445, then rerun this dev bump or validate the next automated dev bump. This worker is waiting for #4445 to merge.
