Nomad Integration

Plugin does not understand Nomad correctly, as you see it tracks me back there to the point where I docked Nomad into Caspian and it thinks ship is there yet.
Also Nomad requires explicit white-listing while from my perspective it is the same Caspian all the way.

Yes, I've noticed this. I'll have to study the journals to see how I can properly detect things with the nomad.

So the Nomad triggers a bizarre amalgam of journal events.

You get the LaunchFighter event, typical ship Touchdown and Liftoff events, the Disembark and Embark events marked as an SRV, and the DockSRV event when returning to your ship.

The DockSRV indicates: "SRVType":"lander01", "SRVType_Localised":"Nomad" - none of the other events indicate what's actually being flown.

I'll now need to study how I'm currently handling these events so I can figure out how to appropriately update the statuses.

I'll need to test, but I think the issue was due to the DockSRV event setting the ship location (as a backup method, say if you log in while in the SRV and don't have the ship location info from a previous Touchdown event).

Since the Nomad inexplicably calls this instead of a typical DockFighter event, I need to catch the SRVType and ignore this when it happens to match the Nomad. (I find it odd the Fighter events don't indicate the fighter type...)

Are you saying you don't get bioscan info while in the Nomad? I don't really see why that would be the case. It isn't marked as an actual ship, it should work much the same as any other fighter. Unless... it's being marked as an SRV instead of a Fighter in the status file...

Well, that screen shows different thing. I have docked Nomad -> Caspian and flew ahead some, but! Take a look on 'ship' marker - it is still on "dock point" where I actually docked. And this will remain until I cruise.

Well yes, that's what the above change should fix. I'm asking about the whitelist comment. I was using the Nomad and had no issue with seeing the BioScan info. I don't think it's even possible to add it to the whitelist.

Ah, well, 1st day I bought it and went out it was no output until I whitelisted it. Also EDMC was showing I'm using "new Nomad Ship".
Later on EDMC shows Caspian. Probably it was initial bug for first couple hours.

Odd. Was this on-planet or in space? I'm not really sure why EDMC would interpret it as a typical 'ship'. It should work like a fighter generally.

I don't recall....probably in space, because I think I recall I wanted a list of bodies where to go.
