Problem and change

A failed task_create attempt could remain an unfinished obligation after Von corrected its own assignee or reporting choice and canonically verified the task. Finalisation then replaced a correct created/pending answer with a false partial-success report. The report also displayed the rejected model draft, including contradictory claims and raw presenter tags.

Add optional report-only recovery metadata to the existing invocation interface. The model identifies its revisable choice; reconciliation still requires the exact failed no-change attempt, matching remaining task arguments and verified replacement fields. Explicit user requirements remain requirements. Assignment authority and original receipts are unchanged. Keep rejected drafts in diagnostics/capsules and distinguish failed attempts in narration.

Validation

  • 403 affected checks passed across the combined run (402 passing) and the corrected presenter-test rerun (1 passing): ordinary-turn/native-service recovery, genuine mixed outcomes, exact receipts, redaction, and presenter behaviour.
  • Three bounded live gpt-6-astra/medium probes selected assignee/reporting recovery and preserved an explicitly required unavailable assignee. No probe tools were executed. This is protocol evidence, not a general model reliability claim.
  • Corrected one stale presenter suppression-reason expectation after reproducing it on unchanged main; production behaviour on that path is unchanged.
  • Diff and syntax checks pass. No schema migration or dependency changes.

Native task: #V#task_agent_e50dc24697b65187edf03d4ee0a3f580.
