I study Software Engineering at Babcock University, but most of my real learning happens at 2am building random ideas nobody asked me to build. I build web + mobile apps from scratch, run my own design brand, and I'm low-key obsessed with turning side projects into things that actually make money one day 🌸
not a "10x engineer," just someone who really likes finishing what she starts (and then immediately starting three more things).
- 🛠️ Building small, scrappy products and seeing if real people would actually use them
- 💸 Learning how to take a side project from "cute idea" to "this makes money"
- 🎨 Keeping one foot in design so my code doesn't just work, it looks good too
- 📈 Figuring out distribution — building it is the easy part, getting people to care is the real project
🛍️ Novara
a whole fashion e-commerce site — shop, collections, cart, wishlist, login, checkout, the works. built to feel like a real store, not a school project.
☕ Tecera
a motion-heavy landing page for a specialty coffee roastery — lots of scroll animation and little interactive details to make it feel premium.
💡 Steady
a landing page built around the idea of steady light — clean, calm, and focused visual storytelling.
💬 Whatsapp Landing Page
a landing page built to drive people straight into a WhatsApp conversation/funnel.
📚 Soki's Books
a cozy little book-discovery app powered by the Open Library API, with book previews via Internet Archive and monetization baked in from the start (ads + affiliate links).
🎬 Movie Review Hub (cooking rn 🍳)
full-stack movie review app w/ auth, so people can actually log in and leave their hot takes.
📍 Vybe (cooking rn )
a gamified hyperlocal social app for Nigerian neighborhoods — the kind of app that makes your area feel a little more alive. went as far as building a full investor pitch deck + financial model for it.
🎨 Soketal Designs my personal design brand + portfolio site — rebuilt from the ground up so it's actually responsive, with mobile nav and typography that doesn't break on a small screen (a real achievement, honestly). 🔗 sokiportfolio.netlify.app
