NanoBanana Alchemy

Overview

NanoBanana Alchemy is a FastAPI + HTMX studio for prompt-driven image workflows. It lets you manage JSON templates, blend references, run character and style transfers, and review outputs in a clean, visual pipeline. The home “journeys” showcase each pipeline from template → prompt → result.

Key capabilities

• JSON To Image: render images directly from structured JSON prompts.
• Character Transfer: blend a source reference with a JSON prompt.
• Style Transfer: compose from single or multi-image style sets.
• Templates Library: create, edit, and reuse templates with preview images.
• Outputs Gallery: browse, download, and delete generated images.
• Inline UX: live previews, pop‑up image zoom, and structured editors.

Installation (uv)

1. Install uv

curl -LsSf https://astral.sh/uv/install.sh | sh

2. Sync dependencies

uv sync

3. Configure env

cp .env.example .env

Set GEMINI_API_KEY in .env.

4. Run the app

uv run uvicorn main:app --reload

Open: http://127.0.0.1:8000

Notes

• Generated assets are saved in static/JsonToImage, static/CharacterTransfer, and static/StyleTransfer.
• Templates and previews live under static/library/<template_id>/.
