TRAM
TRAM is a client and state-transition implementation for the JAM protocol, which describes a global singleton permissionless compute environment.
This wiki is preserved as the architecture and design archive for the project. TRAM was built around JAM protocol modeling, state-transition components, validation flows, checkpointed persistence, and fork-aware state handling.
The repository is not currently under active development. It is published as a technical showcase and reference artifact from the 2024-2025 JAM implementation work.
Start with STF Architecture for the state-transition architecture and Explorations for database, state-access, and fork-handling design notes.
