Issues

• Valid program rejected: a tuple with an untyped number in an array literal fails to type-check

• Compiler panic: a u32 remainder whose divisor the compiler finds to be zero crashes, while division gets a clean error

Zokrates/ZoKrates#1407 · Filter by author NullWitnessZK opened on Oct 20, 2026

• Compiler panic when a variable is assigned from a slice of itself, such as x = [...x[1..3], x[0]]

• Compiler panic: a field power whose base is a product of two non-constant values crashes code generation

Zokrates/ZoKrates#1405 · Filter by author NullWitnessZK opened on Oct 20, 2026

• Compiler panic on a constant u8/u16/u32/u64 division or remainder by zero, where field gets a clean error

• Compiler panic when an asm assignment reads a local variable only through a term that simplifies away

Zokrates/ZoKrates#1403 · Filter by author NullWitnessZK opened on Oct 20, 2026

• Valid inputs fail with Sum check failed: shift masks its bound instead of capping it

Zokrates/ZoKrates#1402 · Filter by author NullWitnessZK opened on Oct 20, 2026

• Valid program cannot be proven: guarded u32 subtraction fails with Sum check failed

Zokrates/ZoKrates#1401 · Filter by author NullWitnessZK opened on Oct 20, 2026

• Wrong output: x[0] = [0, x[0][0]] on a 2-D array reads the already-overwritten element and returns [0, 0]

Zokrates/ZoKrates#1400 · Filter by author NullWitnessZK opened on Oct 20, 2026

• Soundness: an unused array read a[i] loses its bounds check, so a proof verifies for an out-of-bounds index

Zokrates/ZoKrates#1399 · Filter by author NullWitnessZK opened on Oct 20, 2026

• Soundness: an optimizer bug deletes the check on an asm block's value, letting a prover prove any output
