Android platform engineer, SDE-2 at Primebook India. I take Android from a raw SoC and a barely booting code dump to a stable OS running on real, shipping hardware.
Since 2019 I’ve lived in the parts of the stack most people never touch: SystemUI, framework services, HALs, and the kernel. Lately I’m also building an AI operator that runs inside the OS and gets your tasks done for you.
🏆 3rd Place, India Automation Challenge 2023. Finished on the national podium in one of India’s biggest automation challenges.
Kernel & SoC Bring-up
- Board bring-up and stabilization across Qualcomm, MediaTek, and Rockchip platforms
- Device trees, defconfigs, and boot-chain debugging from bootloader to
init - Diagnosing panics and boot hangs directly from kernel logs and native stack traces
System & Framework
- Deep work in SystemUI, system services, and the IPC plumbing behind the UI
- Tracing defects from a visible symptom down to the exact framework or HAL call that caused it
- AIDL interfaces and the boundaries between app, framework, and native layers
Android OS Integration
- Turning partial code dumps into complete, bootable AOSP builds
- Build systems (Soong / Make), image assembly, and platform customization
- Full ownership of the path from source to a device that ships
Tooling, Build Infra & Cloud
- AOSP build infrastructure and CI pipelines, backed by AWS
- Advanced Git as a debugging discipline: bisect, patch trains, and history surgery to isolate the commit behind a regression
AI & Agents (current focus)
- Building an AI operator that runs inside the OS and carries out user tasks end to end
- Letting the agent plan, use tools, and drive the system and its UI the way a person would
- Wiring the agent layer straight into the low-level platform I already work on
