Icon not in menu bar - Mac Ventura 13.7.8

The app seems to function, however the icon does not appear in the menu bar, so i can't adjust the charge level. How do i access the icon? or.. failing that, how do i delete the Battery.app safely?

Remove Battery.app using Finder and execute the following command In Terminal app:

battery uninstall

Or forget about icon and do one of the following depending on what you need:

battery maintain 80
battery maintain 60 --force-discharge
battery maintain stop

battery help lists all supported commands. UI icon app uses these commands and does nothing useful on itself. You don't have to use it.
