After Tahoe Update Works Worse

after macos tahoe update, works worse, pereodically charging to 100% with 85% limit

What exactly did you do to produce the issue? (required)
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Update to macos Tahoe, currently on 26.7

Expected behavior (required)
properly working charge limit

Did battery fail to install? Use tail -n 1000 ~/.battery/*/log instead.

i tried newly added similar feature of macos, doesnt work at all, so i switched it off (should not affect the app)

I can also confirm this, the setting has no effect atm, charges to 100% all the time.

Edit: The limit in MacOS settings does work, so maybe the tool has become somewhat obsolete?

This new setting is also available in Tahoe 26.7

Confirmed happening with me on Tahoe 26.7 right now. The app isn't limiting the charge anymore.
