What

  • Created a separate page for frontend objectives. This leaves space on both backend/frontend pages for potential expansion.
  • Added frontend objectives for baseline and probation: Included mid-level and senior developer objectives covering modern frontend standards (accessibility/WCAG, progressive enhancement, web performance, GOV.UK Design System implementation, etc)

Why

Currently, we have baseline objectives for backend developers to help guide line managers and developers during performance reviews and probation periods. However, there is no equivalent page for frontend developers to reference as a baseline or on probation.

This PR introduces a dedicated objectives page for frontend developers (mid-level, senior, and those on probation) to provide clear expectations and consistency. The update gives line managers a clear, repeatable framework for probation reviews and 1:1 discussions.
