Everything in the title - as the title suggests, it would be nice to test this fix on the Steam version (or whatever version @alphayellow1 used originally).

If anyone needs the ASI and is unable to build it, you can find it attached.

New commit to fix FOV when/after boosting, same comment applies, I'd love for @alphayellow1 or someone else to test it on the Steam version (or whichever version matched the pattern used by @alphayellow1 in the first place for X-Tension).

EDIT: Oh, and the link including this post-boost fix is here in case anyone needs it, but again prefer a release as soon as available.

@Cheaterman Just downloaded your ASI to verify.
This fixes the problem on my copy of X-Tension v2.3, Steam edition, Windows 10, 1920×1080.

@Cheaterman just noticed another problem which is also present in the XBTF FOV fix.
If you use the Video Enhancement Goggles upgrade (default bind LAlt) or Boost Extension (default bind Tab), it zooms in correctly, but when it's supposed to unzoom it doesn't snap back to the corrected FOV.

@alphayellow1 alphayellow1 force-pushed the main branch 3 times, most recently from b2e2a53 to 8147906 Compare June 6, 2026 13:30

Ah damn, you're probably right, especially about the goggles! However the tab boost should be fixed using the second ASI (from the post you reacted to)? Admittedly I didn't test with Shift+J for SETA boost extension in the first game but I assumed the codepath would be similar ; I might need to take a closer look again. Thanks for the report!
