Python template

This template is designed as a minimal starting state for a python project for development using VS Code within a devcontainer and for use with uv, ruff and an opinionated set of code styling.

Usage

• Fork this repo for use on your own projects
• Create your new GitHub repo, selecting this as the new one's Template
• Clone your new repo to your local machine
• Open in VS Code, allowing it to auto-build the devcontainer
• Set up the container's environment:
  • uv init
• Happy coding!
