A browser game: two portraits appear side by side — one is a photo of a real person, the other is generated by a GAN. Click the one you think is real. Your streak of correct answers is tracked.
Built with SvelteKit and Tailwind CSS.
- The AI face is pulled live from thispersondoesnotexist.com (cache-busted with a timestamp on every round).
- The real face is drawn at random from a bundled index of ~500 entries
(
src/lib/realData.js, sourced from the FFHQ dataset metadata) and loaded via its Google Drive thumbnail URL. - Each round randomizes which side gets the real photo. A click is mapped back to the left/right image using each element's bounding rectangle.
