Description
Trying to boot the AROS install ISO results in guru 8700 0000 (dead-end, dos.library).
This happens when the Kickstart's strap routine at $FFC924 calls OpenLibrary("intuition.library", ...),
and finds LIBS:intuition.library on the CD-ROM.
AROS Intuition's init compares ExecBase->lib_Version against 50, gets 47 (the Kickstart), returns NULL...
and then dos.library gurus.
Oddly, the AROS floppy disk also gurus if the AROS iso is present at boot. I can't explain this: LIBS: should be assigned to SYS:Libs, which is on the floppy. So why does the presence of the AROS ISO matter?
To Reproduce
I used A4000.47.115.rom, but any OS3.x kickstart will probably do the same.
Also happens if you boot without Startup-Sequence
Architecture
- Amiga (emulated on Coppeline)
CPU
Version
AROS-20260722-amiga-m68k-boot-iso
