Plate 0: an engraved bagel whose empty hole is washed in lavender, beside the name Bag3l and the line “Entia non sunt multiplicanda praeter necessitatem.”

Agents, open models and pictures, with as few moving parts as the job allows.

On the bench

Plate I, Hive: a honeycomb of engraved cells, one of them lit in lavender. A multi-agent harness for production AI. Plate II, open-decisions: state and a question go through an open model in one pass, and the answer is read from the bars of its next-token labels. Typed decisions from open models on your own machine. Plate III, MOSS CharRef: a frozen weight matrix W plus a low-rank product B·A. The same anime character, drawn somewhere new. Plate IV, Simply Art Viewer: a justified mosaic of engraved tiles, one marked as a favourite. A fluid gallery for the art on your disk.

  • Hive stars A multi-agent harness for production AI, where most of my commits go.
  • open-decisions stars Choices, yes/no probabilities, scores and gates, read from a model's next-token labels instead of generated. Demos: agent routing and Tetris on Qwen3-VL-4B, run locally.
  • MOSS CharRef stars An early edit LoRA for MOSS-Image Base: give it a character, describe a new scene. Also on Hugging Face and Civitai.
  • Simply Art Viewer stars Folders become collections: a justified mosaic, a click-zone viewer and a rail. Node and vanilla JS, with a signed Windows app.
