Summary

  • Expanding a UPC-E code always started with number system 0, and an 8-digit code dropped the leading digit.
  • 112300000458 was drawn with the parity for check digit 1, the check digit of 012300000451. It now uses check digit 8.
  • A 6-digit code still uses number system 0. 038000000216 is unchanged.

Test plan

  • dotnet test BarcodeStandardTests/BarcodeStandardTests.csproj (90 tests)
  • Before the fix, the two new rows failed.

Made with Cursor

The expansion always started with 0, and an 8-digit code dropped the number system, so 112300000458 was drawn with the check digit for 012300000451.
