A chill, minimalist viewer for images and videos. Makes browsing your media simple - on any device.
- Browse your image and video library in peace
- Navigate via mouse, keyboard, touch screen, or gamepad
- Share your media to a TV, smartphone, or VR headset within your network
- View content from third-party sources with optional extensions
Enable the network sharing from the desktop app and Vistava generates a temporary HTTP URL. Enter that on another device in the same network (private WiFi or LAN) with a web browser or scan the QR code shown in the app.
That second device will then show the same UI and the same media library, so you can watch all your media on a Smart TV, tablet, phone, or VR headset without moving files around or going through some cloud service.
With extensions, Vistava can also view content from third-party media sources with HTTP APIs. Explore the available projects through the Vistava GitHub topic.
Downloads are available on the Releases page:
- Windows: installer (recommended) or portable ZIP
- Linux: Flatpak (recommended), pacman package or tarball
See the documentation on the Vistava website for usage instructions and more information about the application.
