Add Docker Compose files so the unofficial Web UI can be run with docker compose up --build.

Usage

From the repository root:

docker compose up --build # NVIDIA GPU
docker compose -f docker-compose.cpu.yml up --build # CPU

Then open http://localhost:8756

What this includes

  • docker-compose.yml — GPU Web UI (NVIDIA Container Toolkit)
  • docker-compose.cpu.yml — same service with ULTRASINGER_WEBUI_FORCE_CPU=1 and no GPU devices
  • Dockerfile now starts python3.12 -m webui instead of an interactive shell
  • Entrypoint chowns bind mounts (data, export/*, cache) then drops to uid 1000
  • Volumes: ./data (jobs/settings), ./export/yarg, ./export/ultrastar, named volume for Hugging Face / torch cache
  • Env overrides for host/port, force CPU, tray, and export paths (so compose can point exports at /export/yarg and /export/ultrastar)

Enable YARG / UltraStar folder export in Settings after the container is up (or set ULTRASINGER_YARG_EXPORT_ENABLED=1 / ULTRASINGER_ULTRASTAR_EXPORT_ENABLED=1).

Tests

  • python3 -m unittest pytest.webui.test_config_env — passed
  • Full image build not run here (CUDA base + torch install)

GPU and CPU compose files start python -m webui on port 8756 with
persistent data, export, and model-cache volumes. Dockerfile now
defaults to the Web UI and an entrypoint that chowns bind mounts.
