Fix Device initialization failed in ATK Hub on Linux by granting the wireless dongle non-root HID access.
ATK Hub (web app) talks directly to the receiver over /dev/hidraw*, likely via WebHID. Default permissions are root-only, so pairing/init fails with no useful error beyond "Device initialization failed."
echo 'SUBSYSTEM=="hidraw", ATTRS{idVendor}=="373b", ATTRS{idProduct}=="1085", MODE="0666"' | sudo tee /etc/udev/rules.d/99-atk-mouse.rules
sudo udevadm control --reload-rules && sudo udevadm triggerUnplug and replug the dongle, then retry pairing in ATK Hub.
lsusbLook for the dongle (may show as ATK, CX, Compx, or similar). Swap idVendor/idProduct in the rule for your values.
The udev rule sets hidraw device nodes matching that VID/PID to 0666 (read/write for all users) instead of root-only, so the browser/web app can open the device directly (e.g. via WebHID).
