Installation

sudo ./install.sh

The script:

• copies the theme into /boot/grub/themes/
• automatically updates the GRUB configuration

Warning

⚠️ DO NOT blindly let the script modify your GRUB config.

The install script automatically edits /etc/default/grub and runs grub-mkconfig. Depending on your system configuration, this can break your boot entirely.

Known critical cases:

• LUKS encrypted systems: enabling gfxterm (required for the theme) switches GRUB to a different keyboard driver. If your disk passphrase contains special characters (!, &, ', ~, @, #...), they may be interpreted in QWERTY instead of your actual layout — locking you out of your own system.
• LVM on LUKS / custom initramfs setups: any change to GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX may break the boot chain.
• Multi-boot systems: automatic grub-mkconfig may overwrite or ignore custom entries.

✅ Recommended: review changes to /etc/default/grub manually, then run sudo grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg yourself.

sudo ./uninstall.sh

The script restores a clean GRUB configuration.
